CALL FOR PARTNERS | WIOTC’s Annual Events in 2026

The World Internet of Things Convention (WIOTC) and Conference on Sustainable Development of Global Intelligently Interconnected Digital Economy are global summits focus on the innovative development of the IoT digital economy, supported by the United Nations and the Chinese Government. Having organized and convened the annual conventions for 10 consecutive years and more than 300 international forums and summit sessions, the organization has boasted over 40 million guests for every annual event offline and online, and there are more than 400 million viewers joining the live streaming events each year. The United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres addressed the World Internet of Things Convention for 3 years in a row. His speeches were published on the official website of the United Nations. The events are attended by heads of state, dignitaries, government officials, and diplomats from over 100 countries. The convention has garnered extensive participation from prominent UN agencies, including UNESCO, ITU, UNCTAD, and UNDP, as well as prestigious international organizations such as ISO, IEC, WFEO, IEEE, ETSI, and AICTO. The State Council of the People’s Republic of China and the CPC have released the news about the conferences. Thousands of media including Xinhua News Agency, CCTV, PR Newswire, World News, People’s Daily, CNR, Bloomberg, AFP, European Press Agency, and Phoenix TV have reported and reposted our events. Collectively, these efforts have played a pivotal role in driving global socio-economic innovation, strengthening international cooperation, narrowing the digital divide, and advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In alignment with the spirits of United Nations’ global digital cooperation and the Sustainable Development Goals, WIOTC aims to set Chinese examples of intelligently interconnected digital economy worldwide, lead the innovative development of global intelligently interconnected digital economy, and support the establishment of a community with a shared future for mankind. The World Internet of Things Convention 2026, hosted by World Internet of Things (WIOTC) and cohosted by China Mobile Communications Association (CMCA), will be slated for the period between June and November this year in China and Malaysia. To ensure high-quality organizational preparation, foster broad social participation, and enrich the convention’s agenda, we are now officially launching the Global Call for Partners, inviting relevant organizations and enterprises worldwide to join us in building this high-end, cutting-edge, and leading platform for international exchange.

WIOTC’s Annual Events in 2026

1. 2026 World IoT Top 500 Summit

a. Time and Venue: Scheduled to be held in Beijing in late June 2026

b. Program Content: The Opening Ceremony, Global Fortune 500 Forum, Government Promotion Activities, High-level Roundtable Dialogues, Official announcement of World IoT Top 500 and issuance of certificates and licenses

2. 2026 World Internet of Things Convention, 2026 Conference on Sustainable Development of Global Intelligently Interconnected Digital Economy 

a. Time and Venue: Scheduled to be held in China in late October 2026

b. Program Contents:

  1. Main Events: Opening Ceremony (Plenary Session), World New Economic Forum, Ambassador Forum, Urban Innovative Development Forum, and International Cooperation Forum, etc

  2. Parallel Forums: Industrial IoT (IIoT) / Smart Manufacturing, Connected Vehicles & Transportation, Energy, Agriculture, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Low-Altitude Smart Connectivity, Satellite IoT, Aerospace & Aviation, Healthcare, Smart City, Smart Living, Culture & Tourism, Standardization, and International Youth Forum, etc

  3. Government-Enterprise Special Events: Investment Promotion Meetings for Countries, Local Governments, High-Tech Zones, and Industrial Parks, and Enterprise-specific Forums (Product/Technology Launches, etc.)

a. Time: Scheduled to be held between August and October 2026

b. Project Contents: Focusing on contents such as technological innovation and international cooperation involving ASEAN, France, and other relevant regions or countries

4. International Cooperation and Matchmaking

Seeking partners with a strategic presence or demand for "going global" and international collaboration across Europe, Asia, the Americas, Oceania, Africa, and relevant international organizations. This initiative focuses on multilateral cooperation opportunities to build a high-efficiency platform for resource linking and project implementation between governments, enterprises, and cross-border institutions.


Call for Global Partners

1. Target Groups:

  1. Governmental Authorities and Public Institutions (including public agencies, embassies in China, and industrial park management committees)

  2. IoT, Digital Economy, and Technology Enterprises

  3. Relevant International Organizations, Chambers of Commerce, Trade Associations, and Alliances

2. Scope of Partners and Sponsors

  1. Requirements for Forum Organizers

    Applying organizations must have prior experience in hosting forums or thematic conferences within the relevant fields or industries. The proposed forum activities must focus on global industrial development and technological innovation trends in that specific sector, ensuring that the session arrangements, activity formats, and content are highly aligned and integrated.

  2. Call for Sponsorship Partners

    Annual Convention Partnership Categories include: Global Strategic Partners, Strategic Partners, Senior Partners, Ecosystem Partners, Brand Partners, and Service Support Partners.

    Global Strategic Partners, Strategic Partners, and Senior Partners: The convention provides these partners with year-round regular benefits, including brand display and promotion, participation in domestic and international conference activities, and media coverage. Customized cooperation packages can also be developed to align with the enterprise's strategic development goals.

    Ecological Partners and Brand Partners: The convention provides these partners with benefits such as brand exposure, publicity and promotion, and demonstrations of corporate or product capabilities.

    Service Support Partners: This category includes, but is not limited to, sponsorship for catering/coffee breaks, food/beverages, souvenirs/gifts/materials, guest transportation (VIP vehicles), and general conference service support.

3. Application Procedure

Interested organizations should complete the "Expression of Interest (EOI) Form for 2026 World Internet of Things Convention Activities" as required and send it to 365@wiotc.org. The Organizing Committee will conduct a preliminary review and provide feedback accordingly.
